Tip # 97 Cancel your cell phone insurance
I had cell phone insurance for the first couple of years I had a cell phone. I figured $5/month is worth it if something ever happened to my cell phone. Then I started reading more about it and realized how much of waste of money it actually is! Even if you have insurance and something happens to your phone, chances are you will have to pay something to get a new phone. Personally, I'd rather save the $60/year and if something does happen to my phone, purchase a cheap one to get me through until I am due for a new (free or close to free) phone.
