CVS Quarterly Update

I decided it would be fun this year to keep track of how much money I actually spend (as well as how much I save) at CVS. Here are my First Quarter Stats :)

Began with $5 in ECB's, $10 CVS Giftcard from purchases last year, $50 CVS giftcard (from cashing in credit card reward points)
Total Spent (On giftcards): $56.33
Spent OOP (Out of Pocket): $4.39
Saved $178.10
Total ECB's Received: $55 in ECB’s

So basically I've only spent $4.39 of my own money for $234.43 worth of merchandise :D Also, I submitted for $15 worth of rebates so when I receive those checks I will use them as "free CVS money" to keep my OOP cost minimal. Also, I'm only a few credit card points away from being able to submit for another free $50 giftcard :)

Macy's Shopping

Last weekend Tom and I went shopping because he needed some new clothes. We managed to find just about everything he needed, which was great. I, of course, had to peruse the clearance racks at Macy's....and I'm so glad I did! I found 4 long sweaters which are perfect to wear with yoga pants or leggings. I also found a super cute tank top which only cost $3.99 so I couldn't really pass it up! After the 20% discount on top of the clearance prices, it made 3 of the sweaters $7.99 each and one $11.56.

Spent $39.52

Retail $158

More Deals of the Week: Spent $3.48 Saved $43.26

Where do I begin? This might be my best shopping trip ever :) I went to CVS, Target, and Staples. Total spent was $3.48, saved $43.26, and I received $5 in ECB's from CVS and a $5 Target giftcard from Target. See more details below. Target is on top, CVS is on the bottom right, and the ream of (Staples) paper is from Staples :) Target: Spent $2.96, Saved $26.60, Received $5 Target giftcard. This is a great example of how "rolling" Target giftcards can get you some awesome deals.
CVS: Spent $0.69 (just tax) and I used my giftcard so I didn't spend any of my own money, Saved $11.17, Received $5 in ECB's.
And finally at Staples, I spent $6.01 but I'll be getting $5.49 back from a rebate deal making the ream of paper free. I love free paper to print out free coupons!!
