Tip # 51 Don't go for every deal

Now that you are being frugal, you have probably come across hundreds (or more) of deals, sales, discounts, etc. It's great that you are in tune with this, but it is so important that you continue to analyze every purchase and don't get sucked into "buying" something just because it's free, but, oh wait, you have to pay $10 shipping and handling.

The same is true with coupons. A lot of stores will have coupons for $10 off a $30 purchase or free item with a $15 purchase. Only use these coupons if you were already intending to buy items from that particular retailer. Don't spend the money just because you have a coupon.
