There are so many things (more than I am even aware of, I'm sure) that if you put in a little time and effort to do it yourself, you can save a ton of money. A few things that come to my mind.......
- Oil changes (Tom may be learning how to do this in the near future)
- Home repairs
- Sewing
- Computer repair
- Giving your dog a bath
- Cleaning your house
- Cutting your family's hair
And the list goes on. The next time you find yourself paying for a service or a repair, ask yourself if it is something you could do yourself with some time and effort.
